Hyde is looking to recruit a Gas Engineer.

As a Gas Engineer at Hyde you will be working within Property Services to provide a responsive and professional gas installations service to ensuring all work sites are adequately protected and maintained.

Responsibilities

Service and repair of domestic gas appliances (i.e. gas boilers, fires)

Perform routine maintenance checks

Maintain and monitor the supply, stock and use of materials

Participate in the ‘out of hours' service delivery on a rota basis (Currently every 1 in 6 weeks)

Act as a liaison between and internal teams to ensure any property-related issues are highlighted and resolved promptly

Raise any non-compliance or process failures with managers.

Skills and Experience Required

Previous experience as a gas engineer

Great customer service skills

Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT,

Previous domestic or social housing experience is advantageous

Desirable but not essential – HTR1, CONGLP1PD, Unvented Hot Water Systems.
