Job Description

Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting for a Gas Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing Social Housing Contractor.\n\nDue to continued business growth, the company is expanding its Gas Team, creating an excellent opportunity to join a successful and forward-thinking organisation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Servicing, repairing, and maintaining domestic gas appliances including boilers, cookers, and gas fires\n\n * \n\n Carrying out annual gas safety checks within occupied social housing properties\n\n * \n\n Diagnosing faults and carrying out breakdown repairs on domestic gas systems\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all work is completed in line with current Gas Safe regulations and compliance standards\n\n * \n\n Accurately completing job sheets, gas safety certificates, and compliance documentation\n\n * \n\n Providing a professional and customer-focused service when working in tenants’ homes\n\n * \n\n Managing daily workloads and appointments efficiently while working independently\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n ACS Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, and CKR1 (or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working on domestic boilers, cookers, and gas fires\n\n * \n\n Previous experience within social housing or domestic gas environments is \n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry compliance\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive bonus scheme\n\n * \n\n Company van and fuel card\n\n * \n\n Overtime and on-call opportunities\n\n * \n\n Pension scheme and holiday entitlement\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and career development opportunities
