Are you passionate about safety, compliance, and making a real difference? We're seeking a skilled Gas Assessor to support our client within the education sector. This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent role offering the chance to contribute directly to the safety and well being of students and staff.
Role Overview
As a Gas Assessor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that gas installations and related systems across educational facilities are safe, compliant, and professionally maintained. You'll work closely with site teams and stakeholders to carry out assessments, offer expert guidance, and help foster a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of gas installations across multiple educational sites.
Ensure all systems comply with current legislation, standards, and health & safety regulations.
Produce clear, detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and any required corrective actions.
Liaise with maintenance and facilities teams to address identified issues in a timely manner.
Support staff and students by promoting gas safety awareness and best practices.
What We're Looking For
Relevant and up-to-date gas qualifications/certifications (e.g., ACS, Gas Safe).
Previous experience in a gas assessment or similar compliance-based role-education sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong analytical skills.
Confident communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to safety and compliance.
