Futures Lead

New Today

Salary: Up to £40,000

This role is a hybrid with regular travel required across our locations in the South East.

Those huge small victories

Whether our young people want to be an astronaut or an artist or anything in between, we are completely committed to helping them realise futures that are out of this world.

As the leading independent specialist educational provider, we believe that young people should be judged by the person they become, and not the box they tick. From this belief WG Futures has been born, a unique way to completely support every young person into the future they deserve. Developed in complete collaboration with schools, employers and young people, WG Futures is all about delivering unlimited aspiration and endless opportunity for every child.

Get out what you put in

We are looking for an individual with experience of working with both young people and employers, creating meaningful partnerships.  The role will report to our Senior Futures Lead and work across our wider Group, bringing employers from a variety of industries on board to support WG Futures and provide our students with endless experience and opportunity.

This role will involve building strong relationships, working closely with employers and setting up partnerships with schools.  You will manage and coordinate partners coming into schools to talk about their job roles, the industry they work in and the opportunities available, as well as planning visits out into the business world and identifying work experience and mentoring opportunities for young people.

We don’t just want any partner, we want the right role models who will inspire and raise aspiration in our young people. In turn, this role requires the right person to make it their own and help us truly deliver aspirational futures to our young people.

What we do for you

We know you’re going to do great things. For your hard work and commitment, we reward you with the best salary and benefits package in the sector. With us, you’ll get to make a genuine difference to the lives of our young people – plus you’ll get:
