Functional Skills Tutor (16–25) – Newham 1:1 Tuition | Outreach & Community-Based | PAYE New Chapter Tuition is seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to provide 1:1 English and Maths tuition to learners aged 16–25 in Newham. This role involves supporting young people working towards Entry Level to Level 2 Functional Skills, helping them build confidence, develop core skills, and progress into education, employment, or training. The Role You will work with learners who may have SEN, SEMH needs, anxiety, or gaps in learning, often following periods of disengagement from education. Tuition will be delivered in community-based settings using a supportive, learner-centred approach.
