We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and supportive Teaching Assistant to join one of our primary schools in Kensington. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of all pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

About the role

The role involves supporting pupils’ academic progress, assisting with classroom management, and providing targeted support for individuals or small groups, including children with SEND or additional learning needs. The Teaching Assistant will also help with preparing learning resources, supervising activities, and promoting the wellbeing and independence of pupils.

To be considered for the role of Full-Time Teaching Assistant you will:

Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
Ability to support pupils’ learning and development effectively
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Key responsibilities

As Full-Time Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and learning activities
Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to support learning and development
Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEND or EAL support
