We are seeking a committed, full-time English Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5, including GCSE and A-Level English, from September (or earlier for the right candidate). The Role You will deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, supporting students as they develop their confidence in literature and language while preparing them for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Key Requirements QTS is preferred, or substantial experience teaching English in a UK secondary school, including GCSE and ideally A-Level. Strong behaviour management skills that help maintain a calm, structured, and purposeful classroom environment. Experience working with students with additional needs is not essential, but the ability to adapt teaching to diverse learners will be highly valued. Proven ability to motivate and inspire students across Key Stages 3–5, fostering strong progress and engagement.
