We are seeking a resilient, empathetic, and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive secondary school in Enfield from January. This is a rewarding full-time role for someone passionate about supporting young people to overcome behavioural barriers to learning and succeed both academically and socially.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students displaying challenging behaviour

*
Help students develop positive behaviour strategies, emotional regulation, and self-confidence

*
Support pupils within lessons, intervention spaces, and pastoral settings

*
Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and SEN staff to implement behaviour plans

*
Act as a positive role model, promoting high expectations and positive relationships

*
Monitor and record student progress and behaviour outcomes

The Ideal Candidate:

*
Experience working with secondary-aged students in a mentoring, behaviour, youth work, or school-based role

*
Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner

*
Strong communication and relationship-building skills

*
Patient, resilient, and committed to improving student outcomes

*
Experience with SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision is desirable but not essential
