This is a full-time role working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to ensure the pupil receives tailored support that promotes progress, confidence and independence.Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with Special Educational Needs Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents to monitor progress Help with emotional regulation, behaviour support and daily routines as needed Previous SEN experience (essential) Ability to build positive relationships and support pupil engagement A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one Available immediately A fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension or permanent employment A dedicated consultant from Hays Education who will provide you with advice, guidance and support throughout your placement A competitive salary depending on your qualifications and experience Work with a globally established company with a wide client network Full holiday entitlement Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
