Tradewind Recruitment is working with several progressive secondary schools in Leicester seeking a motivated and dedicated French Teacher to join their team from April or September 2026. This full-time role offers long-term supply or a permanent contract for the right candidate.

These schools place high value on Modern Foreign Languages, aiming to deliver engaging, high-quality French lessons that develop fluency, confidence, and cultural awareness in students.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 in some schools)
• Inspire students to develop language skills, curiosity, and cultural understanding
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive MFL department
• Participate in wider school life, including enrichment activities and cultural events

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the French GCSE curriculum (A-Level experience advantageous)
• Confident classroom presence with effective behaviour management
• Genuine enthusiasm for language learning and student progress
• Open to ECTs and experienced teachers
