Freight Operations Specialist Location: WorcestershireSalary: Up to £35,000 Job Type: Full Time Office Based We are recruiting for an experienced Freight Operations Specialist to join a well-established and growing UK freight forwarder based in the Worcestershire area.This is a hands-on, start-to-finish role with a strong focus on road freight import and export operations, offering the opportunity to develop into a fully multimodal operator with exposure to air and road freight (full training provided).The role includes:Start-to-finish management of sea, air and road freight import and export shipmentsHandling customs clearance and all associated documentationLiaising with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and suppliersArranging final delivery and transportResolving operational issues professionally and efficientlyAccurate job costing and invoicingSupporting air and road freight bookings as part of multimodal developmentMaking consultative outbound calls to customers to support service delivery and growthRequirements:Minimum 2 years' experience in freight operations (imports and/or exports)Solid understanding of international freight forwarding processesCustoms clearance experienceConfident handling files end to endOrganised, detail-focused, and customer-drivenWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
