Working with a fantastic business in Birmingham, we are recruiting for a Freight Operations Manager.

The primary focus will be Road and Ocean Freight, But knowledge of Air, along with Customs and Sales expereince is an advantage. So an "all-rounder" would be perfect.

Managing a busy team, you will have:

Demonstrable exposure to Road and Sea freight within a freight forwarding environment.

Strong operational knowledge of freight suppliers, hauliers, and forwarding networks, with a sales background.

Sound Customs knowledge.

Commercial awareness with the ability to balance Customer Service and profitability.

Excellent negotiation skills along with industry contacts.

Hands-on leadership style with the ability to step into operational detail when required.

Highly organised, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused.
