Freight Forwarder
Location: Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

A well-established logistics and freight company based in Newtownabbey is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate import and export shipments across various modes of transport (road, air, sea).
• Liaise with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure smooth delivery and timely updates.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading and invoices.
• Provide quotations and negotiate rates with suppliers and customers.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
• Maintain compliance with international trade regulations.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of customs procedures and documentation.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
