Required - Site Manager with experience working in a live HMP prison environment **\n\nWe are recruiting a Freelance Site Manager who will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of works across multiple live areas within an operational HMP prison. The role requires a proactive, hands-on Site Manager with strong experience in construction and fire safety improvements, ensuring works are delivered safely, securely, and to programme.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Manage day-to-day site activities across multiple live prison areas\n\n * \n\n Take direct responsibility for fire safety improvements, including builders’ work and fire door installations\n\n * \n\n Maintain full compliance with health & safety, fire safety, and prison regulations\n\n * \n\n Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and liaison with prison authorities\n\n * \n\n Drive site productivity through a visible, hands-on presence on site\n\nEssential Requirements:\n\n * \n\n Valid CSCS Card\n\n * \n\n SMSTS certification\n\n * \n\n First Aid qualification\n\n * \n\n Proven Site Manager experience within construction\n\n * \n\n Strong background in fire safety works, including fire doors and associated builders’ work\n\n * \n\n Previous experience working in a live HMP prison environment (essential)\n\n * \n\n Hands-on approach with a strong on-site presence
