Freelance Site Engineer – Groundworks & Civils
Glasgow & Ayrshire £300 – £350/day (DOE) ⏱️ Immediate Start | Ongoing Work
We’re working with a well-established contractor delivering a range of groundworks and infrastructure projects across Glasgow and Ayrshire, and they’re looking to bring in an experienced Engineer to support their growing workload.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of groundworks packages, ensuring works are carried out accurately and in line with programme.
Typical duties include:
* Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, and external works
* Overseeing groundworks and civils operations on site
* Managing QA, including as-builts and site records
* Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
* Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
