Job Description

Our client, a highly respected Management Contractor, is seeking to appoint a freelance Quantity Surveyor to support them at the bidding stage for a prestigious scheme in Leeds.\n\nYou will play an important role in evaluating project viability, managing risks, and assisting in the preparation of a competitive, profitable bid.\n\nQuantity Surveying duties will include:\n\n * tender analysis and review\n\n * cost estimation and budgeting\n\n * procurement and subcontractor selection\n\nRequirements:\n\n * You must have a proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor in a Main Contractor environment\n\n * Ideally degree educated\n\n * Excellent communication skills\n\n * Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team\n\nIf you are an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a minimum of 6 months employment, and with the potential for ongoing work in the Leeds area, then this is a fantastic opportunity for you
