Freelance Media Account Director

London/Birmingham

Hybrid - 2/3 days onsite or Remote possible

Outside IR35


This large, networked agency is looking for a freelance Media Account Director to work with their Media team on a hybrid basis out of their London or Birmingham office 2/3 days per week (although this can be flexible, remote is also a possibility), with the remainder of the week WFH. The contract is for 3 months, starting asap.


Working on a couple of their accounts (healthcare and public sector accounts) within their busy media team, you will have experience as a Media Account Director or Media Senior Account Manager within an a creative agency, overseeing the execution of media plans.


The skills needed for the role are;


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of media planning software (e.g., DDS, AdIntel, TGI, Interact)
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.


Performance Metrics:

  • Client satisfaction and team performance.
  • Overall client satisfaction with strategic media solutions and channel planning integrity.
  • Demonstrable growth in client business attributable to media strategies and effective channel decisions.
  • Team's adherence to and innovation within established channel planning frameworks.
  • Successful integration outcomes across specialisms, evidenced by project success and client feedback.
