Your new role
As a Freelance Estimator, you will provide estimating support for bids and contracts, ensuring robust pricing, risk management, and governance.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing accurate and timely estimates for ongoing projects
• Advising senior management on commercial influences and risks
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather cost data
• Ensuring supplier/subcontractor terms align with client requirements and assessing any deviations
• Prioritising workload to meet business needs
• Influencing key stakeholders and implementing process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience within the water or utilities industry
• Strong Excel proficiency
• Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating for water/wastewater projects
• Degree in Construction or Quantity Surveying
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
