We’re working with a fast-scaling D2C brand that has recently invested heavily in building an in-house creative function to support significant growth across paid social. With strong monthly ad spend and a newly formed internal content team, they’re now looking for a Freelance Creative Strategist to take ownership of their Meta creative direction and elevate performance through structured, insight-led campaigns.

The Freelance Creative Strategist will lead the end-to-end creative strategy for paid social, translating commercial goals into high-performing content briefs and testing frameworks.

Role Highlights

  • Own the creative strategy for Meta paid campaigns with £20k–£90k monthly budgets
  • Develop clear, insight-driven briefs for internal creators
  • Define testing roadmaps to improve creative performance at scale
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and content team
  • Introduce structure and best practice into creative production processes

You Will Need

  • Proven experience in D2C or consumer-focused brands
  • Strong track record in paid social, particularly Meta platforms
  • Ability to translate data and commercial goals into creative direction
  • Experience briefing and guiding content creators effectively
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a freelance, project-based setup
