We are also recruiting for a parallel condition survey programme across schools in Kent, requiring additional freelance Building Surveyors.
Assignment Details:
  • Location: Kent
  • Contract: Freelance (Outside IR35)
  • Rate: £300£350 per day (DOE)
  • Programme Duration: May June
  • Start Date: May 2026
Role Overview:
This role mirrors a structured condition survey programme across a range of school buildings, focusing on accurate asset data capture and reporting to support estate planning.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake condition surveys across multiple school sites
  • Assess building condition, defects, and maintenance priorities
  • Produce clear and consistent survey reports
  • Work efficiently across a defined geographic patch
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in condition surveying
  • Background in Building Surveying or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Enhanced DBS (essential and must be current)
Additional Information:
  • Travel within Kent required
  • Short-term programme with potential for future phases
