Freelance Assistant Site ManagerLocation: Southampton Project Value: £2 Million + Start Date: January 2026 Duration: 30+ Weeks Payment: Limited Company (No CIS) About the RoleWe are looking for a Freelance Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a commercial construction project valued at approximately £2 million. The role involves working closely with the Site Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, uphold safety standards, and maintain quality throughout the build. This position offers the chance to contribute to a well-structured scheme with a respected contractor, where attention to detail and proactive problem-solving will be key to success. Key Responsibilities

Support the Site Manager in all aspects of day-to-day site operations.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to specification and on schedule.

Monitor site progress, identify potential delays, and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, delivery notes, and inspection reports.

Assist with quality control checks, ensuring quality construction meets required standards.

Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and storage.

Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.

Report regularly to the Site Manager on progress, issues, and safety compliance.

Assist with snagging and handover processes at project completion.
