Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team.  We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What you'll be doing?
 
You'll be managing and enhancing client relationships, oversee the delivery of the contract / framework to the required standards and ensure resource requirements are met for now and the future, investing in technical, behavioural and safety development. 

You'll lead of all colleagues across a wide range of functions, supporting development, diversity and inclusion and championing employee engagement. Build long-lasting and engaging client relationships, promoting the values of M Group and continually supporting clients’ needs to deliver the best possible solutions.

You'll be responsible for implementing and enabling the highest standards of safety compliance and driving a positive wellbeing culture throughout the whole framework.

You'll provide appropriate assurance and governance to the framework in respect of quality and implement corporate policies to meet carbon reduction and environmental improvements.

You'll be accountable for the delivery of all contractual and commercial KPI’s, quarterly and annual business plan targets. Responsibility for the development and implementation of Improvement initiatives and active inclusion with M Group Innovation and responsibility for adapting new ways of working to benefit colleagues and clients.

What you'll bring?

  • Do you have a high level of communication and negotiation skills?
  • Do you have previous senior management experience in utility contracting or similar environment?
  • Are you able to possess a high degree of commercial/strategic awareness?
  • Can you demonstrate that you have the ability to be decisive and work effectively under pressure?
  • Do you have excellent communication and influencing skills in order to inspire and motivate a team, while effectively managing senior client stakeholders?
  • Are you confident in delegating tasks while maintaining full oversight of all functions within the team?
