This role would be a fantastic fit for someone passionate about sports or entertainment with a background in transaction services or M&A/investment banking wanting to transition to an in-house commercial finance function, still leading on their M&A transactions.

This is a high-impact role within a fast-scaling, creative-led business undergoing significant growth across both domestic and international markets. The position sits at the intersection of FP&A, commercial finance, and investment modelling, supporting senior leadership with insight, forecasting, and decision-making.

The Role

As FP&A Manager, you will take ownership of complex financial modelling and forward-looking analysis across the business. You will play a key role in evaluating new projects and investment opportunities, supporting greenlight decisions, and providing ongoing performance analysis across a diverse slate of productions.

This role offers strong visibility across the business and close interaction with senior stakeholders, including finance leadership, production, and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and developing financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis.
  • Evaluating new production and investment opportunities through detailed financial analysis and due diligence.
  • Lead on any M&A transactions
  • Supporting greenlight decisions by assessing returns, risks, and funding structures.
  • Monitoring performance of events and projects against budget and forecast.
  • Producing clear, commercially focused insight for senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partnering closely with events, commercial, and finance teams to ensure financial assumptions reflect operational realities.
  • Continuously improving modelling tools, processes, and reporting to support a scaling business.

About You

  • Experience in due diligence, project evaluation, or investment-style analysis.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to translate complex financial information into clear insight.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Background in transaction services (TS), modelling or FP&A
