Overview The FP&A Analyst will play a vital role in supporting financial planning and analysis activities. Based in Blackburn, this permanent role requires a detail-oriented professional to provide insightful financial insights and support strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities
Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business planning and forecasting activities. Collaborate with different departments to provide financial insights and recommendations. Assist in budgeting processes and ensure alignment with organisational goals. Monitor key financial metrics and identify trends or areas for improvement. Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and presentations. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to relevant stakeholders. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial models and tools. Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Profile / Qualifications
A strong background in accounting or finance, ideally with 3+ years experience within an analytical role. Proficiency in financial analysis, planning, and reporting tools. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail. The ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate financial insights effectively. A professional qualification in accounting or finance would be advantageous. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
