About Klyk
At Klyk, we’re on a mission to eliminate waste from the business technology ecosystem. As a certified B Corp, we help modern companies adopt a Circular IT model. We are now building the next evolution of Klyk: a modern platform unifying IT, hardware, and cybersecurity. We need a relentless business builder to drive the growth that fuels this vision.
This is not a "Head of Sales" role where you sit back and design strategy on a whiteboard. This is also not a "Junior Sales" role where you blindly dial numbers.
This is a Founding Sales role. To start with, You will be in a sales team of one (along with the founders of course).
In the beginning, you will do everything. You will build the list, write the copy, make the cold calls, demo the product, and close the contracts. There is no team to delegate to—yet.
However, unlike a typical sales role, you have the autonomy to decide how this is done. You will use your intelligence and experience to build the infrastructure—the tech stack, the messaging, the playbooks—that will turn this manual grind into a scalable machine.
We need someone who is humble enough to do the grunt work, but smart enough to automate it so they never have to do it again. You are earning your future leadership seat by getting your hands dirty today.
1. End-to-End Execution (70% of your time)
- Generate Pipeline: You are responsible for your own lead generation. You will identify prospects, run outbound campaigns, and pick up the phone.
- Close Revenue: You will own the full lifecycle from first contact to signed contract. You will be selling complex, high-value solutions to COOs and IT leaders.
- Iterate Live: You won't just follow a process; you will test it. If a pitch isn't working, you rewrite it. If a channel isn't performing, you pivot.
2. Strategic Infrastructure (30% of your time)
- Build the "Modern" Stack: We want you to implement the tools that multiply your output (HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, etc.). You will set up the automations that allow one person to do the work of three.
- Create the Playbook: Document what works. You are building the "Klyk Sales OS" that future hires will use.
- Market Intelligence: You are the bridge between the market and the product. You will feed customer insights back to the founders to help shape our roadmap.
We are looking for a "Builder-Seller."
- You have "0-to-1" Experience: You have likely been one of the first sales hires at a startup before. You thrive in chaos and know how to build structure out of it.
- You are a Senior Operator: You don't need someone to manage your day. You know how to manage a pipeline, forecast accurately, and prioritize high-leverage activities.
- You are Tech-Forward: You don't just "use" a CRM; you know how to configure it. You understand how data enrichment and sales automation can give you an edge.
- You possess "Strategic Grit": You understand the big picture (strategy), but you measure your success by the deals on the board (execution). You are willing to be the janitor and the CEO of your own pipeline.
- High Impact: The revenue you bring in directly funds our product development. You are the engine of the company.
- Autonomy: You have the freedom to choose your tools and define your methods.
- Future Leadership: We are looking for someone who can eventually scale a team around them—but only after proving the model works.
- Mission: Sell a solution that companies feel proud to buy (B Corp, Net Zero, Circular Economy).
