We’re at a pivotal stage finalising our angel round, with a £2.5M pre-seed raise in motion, and building out a global fund-of-funds model aimed at qualified and professional investors.

The Opportunity:

We are hiring a Founding Portfolio Manager to lead the development, launch, and portfolio management of our flagship multi-strategy fund-of-funds product — The XII. You will drive the end-to-end process from product launch, regulatory setup, manager onboarding, to post-launch portfolio oversight and ongoing rebalancing.

This is a hands-on founding team role, combining product development, investment strategy execution, and oversight of regulatory pathways. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to establish a market-leading, scalable investment product with global reach.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Launch Ownership-

• Lead the product design, structuring, and launch of the flagship XII Capital multi-strat fund of funds
• Define portfolio construction methodologies aligned with annual target returns and monthly distribution strategy
• Oversee selection and onboarding of external fund managers 
• Drive regulatory readiness including fund structuring (Cayman/UK), compliance documentation, and investor onboarding flows
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for fund formation and AR/regulated frameworks

Portfolio & Capital Allocation-

• Manage ongoing portfolio allocation, risk balancing, and performance optimization post-launch
• Establish robust reporting, risk oversight, and fund performance tracking systems
• Engage in regular fund manager due diligence, qualitative and quantitative assessments
• Drive proactive reallocation strategies aligned with market dynamics and product objectives

Cross-Functional Leadership-

• Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, compliance, and tech teams to ensure product-market fit
• Contribute to investor-facing communications, product positioning, and performance updates
• Lead investment committee processes and governance structures as AUM scales

Who You Are

• 8+ years of experience in investment management, fund of funds, or multi-strategy portfolio management
• Proven track record of launching and managing fund products, including involvement in regulatory approvals
• Deep understanding of fund manager due diligence, capital allocation, and multi-asset portfolio strategies
• Experience with regulatory frameworks including FCA, AR structures, Cayman or EU domiciles
• Ability to design and own product lifecycle from concept to operational scale
• Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and risk management skills
• Founder mindset – proactive, hands-on, and comfortable building from the ground up
• Bonus: Experience working with emerging fund managers, high-growth AUM environments, or fintech platforms
