Are you an experienced Forklift Driver who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a reliable, safety-focused individual to join our Manufacturing team and play a key role in the movement of materials across our sites.
This is a hands-on role supporting production, warehouse operations, and waste management - ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing: Material Handling & Movement
Safely operate forklifts to move materials across site. Deliver raw materials to production areas and transport finished goods between factories. Support loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring safe and accurate handling. Waste Management
Dispose of waste wood into biomass chippers safely and efficiently. Empty general waste skips and maintain tidy, compliant waste areas. Warehouse Support
Provide cover for warehouse tasks including picking, stock rotation, and replenishment. Maintain accurate material movement and support smooth warehouse operations. Follow all site safety procedures and use appropriate PPE. Health & Safety
Complete daily forklift checks and report defects immediately. Keep work areas clean, tidy, and hazard-free. Promote a safe working culture and raise concerns promptly. Productivity & Record-Keeping
Deliver materials on time to support production flow. Maintain accurate records where required. Suggest improvements to enhance material flow or reduce waste. What We're Looking For: Someone who:
Is confident operating forklifts and holds a valid licence. Has strong awareness of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment. Is reliable, punctual, and comfortable with physical work. Communicates well and works effectively with production and warehouse teams. Is adaptable and willing to support different departments when needed. Can stay calm and prioritise in a fast-paced environment Knowledge & Experience: Experience
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing is beneficial. Experience operating forklifts or material-handling equipment. Understanding of safe lifting, loading, and storage practices. Familiarity with waste handling and site housekeeping is an advantage. Education & Qualifications
Basic English and Maths. Valid Forklift Licence. Technical Skills
Safe and confident operation of forklifts and related equipment. Good understanding of manual handling and safe material movement. General Skills
Strong teamwork and communication. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage workload.
