This is a 100% forklift role with no manual handling, focused entirely on the loading and unloading of double-deck trailers in a fast-paced yard and warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities * Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently at all times * Load and unload double-deck articulated trailers with stacked pallets * Ensure pallets are well handled and positioned * Carry out daily forklift checks and report any defects * Follow site procedures and loading plans accurately * Communicate effectively with various teams and departments Requirements * Valid, in-date Counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB / ITSSAR / AITT or equivalent) * Proven experience loading and unloading trailers - single or double decked * Looking for a long term permanent position * Confident handling pallets at height and in tight trailer spaces * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently * Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume pallet environment Hours of work: Night shift from - Monday to Friday - 8.5 hour shifts Start times between 6pm - 10pm, flexble starts Pay: £15ph with weekly pay rising to £32,000 once permanent
