Purpose of the Job
• To provide planned and reactive maintenance across the client’s commercial portfolio throughout the city
• To deliver high-quality building services maintenance in line with client SLAs
• To work as a foot mobile engineer covering multiple sites within Zones 1–3
• To take a proactive approach in identifying faults and escalating issues where required
• To ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults depending on bias
• Maintain plant, equipment, and building services systems across commercial properties
• Ensure all work orders are completed within agreed timeframes
• Liaise professionally with clients and site representatives
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and statutory requirements
• Accurately complete paperwork and maintenance reports
• Work independently while supporting the wider engineering team when required
• Ensure high standards of workmanship across all sites
Personal Experience / Qualifications / Skills
• Mechanical or Electrical bias
• Must hold a Level 2 qualification or be fully qualified electrically
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within Building Services / Facilities Maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Reliable, professional, and well-organised
• Willingness to attend training and develop skills
Role Details & Benefits
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Salary: £45,000
• Travel: Zones 1–3 Travel Card provided
