Food Technology Teacher

Location: West Drayton

Full time hours: 9am - 4pm

Salary: £160 - £200+ per day (depending on qualification and experience)

We're looking for a passionate food technology teacher who wants to inspire and equip students with practical skills in food tech, while supporting their personal development.

You'll be working in an exciting alternative provision academy that provides a personalised and supportive learning environment for students facing challenges. With a great Ofsted rating, the school focuses on student growth, confidence and life skills. You'll be teaching students age 5-19 who are unable to attend mainstream school due to behaviour issues or mental health challenges.

The right candidate will:

Ideally have a UK QTS with experience teaching in an SEN or SEMH school. Able to assess each individuals learning needs and tailor your teaching style towards them. Work coherently within the multidisciplinary team to report on each pupil's progress and development. You will be positive, enthusiastic, motivational, patient and a dedicated team player A creative approach to lesson planning to ensure the students engage.
