Kellwell Food Management, a Correctional Food Service Provider is now hiring a Food Service Supervisor at the Laurel County Jail located in London, KY. This is a Full-Time position with benefits. We have weekly pay and the starting rate for this position is $14.00 an hour.
Role Description
We are looking for a food service supervisor to oversee inmates in preparing the meals for the day.
Your job duties will include, but not limited to:
ensuring recipes are followed.
ensuring correct ingredients/amounts are used.
following food safety standards
We supervise and work with non-violent inmates.
Experience is bulk cooking facilities is , but not required.
Qualifications
Experience in Food Preparation, Culinary Arts, and Food Sanitization
Familiarity with Food Safety Protocols, Nutrition Standards, and Compliance Regulations
Ability to work in a structured environment and adapt to a correctional facility setting
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in correctional food service is a plus
ServSafe Certification or equivalent is
