As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the food & beverage operations across the hotel, including labour planning and rostering, revenue and cost management, taking a proactive role in managing the inventory control, and supply management. Under the guidance of the Hotel Manager, the F&B Manager will implement all policies and procedures relating to direct reports, ensuring the smooth operation of the Food and Beverage department by creating a harmonious and positive environment for our associates, leading by example, motivating, and developing the team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow the food and beverage offering within a brand-new hotel, contributing directly to its success from the very beginning. Key Responsibilities: Prepare daily, weekly and/or monthly meetings with F&B personnel Implement a thorough and clear system for all legislative documents and records required by the government and the company, ensuring they are current for regular auditing Create, implement and maintain the policies and procedures standards for the F&B department To undertake purchasing for the department within the company guidelines, undertake a monthly stock take, and action any discrepancies immediately Managing and maintaining exemplary standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and equipment usage across all outlets Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, beverage offerings, and service standards across restaurant, bar, in-room dining operations and meeting and events Respond professionally and proactively to guest needs during operational hours Implement creative and innovative approaches to enhance guest service and experience Leadership & People Management Lead by example, fostering a positive, professional, and high-performance culture Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Passionate about team development abilities. Ability to respond confidently and efficiently to guest needs or service issues. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills.
