The Cruising Association is a membership organisation whose clubhouse (HQ) is based on the picturesque Limehouse Marina. Due to an increase in demand, we are looking to expand our small team of catering assistants. Reporting to the Catering Manager (CM), the post holder(s) will be responsible for: Assisting the CM with all food preparation, from bar meals to private functions Bartending and beverage preparation Taking food and beverage orders Clearing tables and all associated cleaning of a busy bar and kitchen Assisting in the set up and service of private functions, parties and room hires Upholding all hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the bar, kitchen and function rooms in accordance with food hygiene standards and other legislation Processing payments and assisting with end of day reports The chosen candidate must be able to: Work both evenings and weekends on a flexible basis Uphold all necessary hygiene standards Work well in a small team Demonstrate excellent communication skills Varying hours are available and candidates are asked to disclose their preferred hours when applying.
