We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Food and Safety Officer (Level 2) to join our Environmental Health & Licensing team. What You’ll Be Doing:

Carrying out official food controls and hygiene inspections in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice.

Leading on food sampling initiatives and the investigation of notifiable infectious diseases.

Enforcing food safety and health & safety legislation including issuing notices, gathering evidence, and taking formal enforcement action.

Investigating complaints relating to food premises, food fraud, and food poisoning outbreaks.
