Are you a talented FM Project Manager looking for your next role? If you are, we may have just the opportunity you are looking for.\n\nOur client is looking for a professional Contracts Technician to oversee a wide range of service and maintenance contracts. The successful applicant will be responsible for tendering, agreement and delivery to agreed SLA's.

You will also deliver contract compliance, cost management & assurance, contract administration and relationship management.\n\nResponsibilities will include:\n\nEnsuring health & safety policies are always adhered to.\nReviewing and approving items such as RAMS, permits to work and on-site audits.\nM&E related contracts which can extend to anything from HVAC, lifts and escalators to BMS systems.\nLeading contractors on a day-to-day basis for planned and reactive maintenance tasks and larger projects.\nContinuous improvement projects\nBuilding Stakeholder relationships both internal and external, meeting and striving to exceed their expectations\nDevelopment of a robust system to ensure constant delivery of all planned and unplanned maintenance works and that they are carried out to the highest standards.\nResponsible for the planning and coordination of work tasks\nEffectively communicate with relevant internal departments and external customers, to ensure works are undertaken with minimal disruption.\nEnsuring compliance by completing various work activities by a deadline.\nFrequent first point of contact for emergency works and works involving a quick and safe turnaround.\nAcquiring quotes for works and reviewing costs, timescales and awarding as necessary.\n\nSkills, experiences, qualifications and competencies Essential\n\nNVQ 3 Qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline\nGood working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to work as an Authorised Person, issuing permission / permits to work in accordance with procedures and statutory requirements as necessary, and the safe management of contractors.\nSelf-motivated, able to work on own initiative\nGood communication skills both written and oral.\nNegotiation skills and tenacity, ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment.\nThe ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines\n\nDesirable\n\nExperience of tender process, managing suppliers to strict SLAs\nIOSH / NEBOSH / project management experience\nMin 5yrs supervisory or management experience\n\nIn addition to a competive salary, the role also attracts an industry leading benefits package including private medical and dental cover, contributory pension, a multitude of discounted websites and cycle to work scheme.\n\nTo apply, or for more detail, please send your latest CV and salary expectations to Steve Johnstone at Morson Edge using (url removed)
