We are a leading environmental consultancy who specialise in ecology and hydrology, with offices located in the Midlands, South Manchester, and Sheffield. The specialist team are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to environmental challenges across the UK. We are currently seeking a Hydrology Consultant to join our growing team. You could be based in many locations across the Midlands, North West and Sheffield.
As a Hydrology Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality consultancy services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting flood risk assessments to support planning applications and development projects. Undertaking Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Developing drainage strategies and designs for a variety of projects, ensuring sustainable and effective water management solutions. Preparing environmental permitting applications in line with regulatory requirements. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including ecologists and engineers, to deliver integrated project outcomes. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to provide expert advice and guidance.
