My client, an innovative, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of specialist consultants, based near to the lively, diverse city of Bristol

Essential Criteria:

* A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Geography, or similar

* Knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Mitigation Reports, and Sustainable Drainage Strategies (SuDS) * Working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including Flood Modeller Pro, etc. * A keen interest in flood risk and drainage strategies * A data-driven, analytical approach to work

It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to possess the following skills:

* Some relevant experience in flood risk and drainage * Strong analytical skills and technical-mindedness * Excellent standard of written English, particularly when applied to report writing * Experience of establishing and building stakeholder relations

* Assisting with the preparation and submission of Flood Risk Assessments

* Undertaking flood risk analysis at a variety of sites

* Carrying out hydraulic modelling, using the appropriate software packages (e.g., Flood Modeller Pro, MicroDrainage, etc.) * Contributing to drainage designs across a variety of projects * Producing technical reports for a range of public and private clients * Collaborating with the wider engineering design team
