£22-£26 per hour

9am - 6pm

My client, a well-established leading, global investment bank based near St Pauls, are looking for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic Float Team Assistant / EA, who has the ability to manage a very high volume of work, whilst maintaining impeccable accuracy.

 

The main purpose of the role is to actively provide support to a range of levels, including Partners, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents and Analysts.

 

Given the pace of this role and the need for someone to hit the ground running, my client are only open to considering people who have supported busy teams with all diary and travel management for at least 5 years, of which 2 years+ must have been within financial services.

 

The hours are 9 am – 6 pm and the team work in the office Monday to Friday.

 

What you will do:

  • Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls, including screening, routing, and taking clear, accurate messages.
  • Arrange meetings and conference calls, while maintaining up-to-date banker contact lists.
  • Efficiently manage busy banker calendars and scheduling requirements.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, multi-leg international travel, visa applications, ground transportation, hotel bookings, cash advances, and detailed itineraries.
  • Prepare and submit travel and entertainment expense reports accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with colleagues in a professional, clear, and effective manner.
  • Carry out general administrative duties, including copying, archiving, and filing documents.
  • Promote a team-focused environment by supporting colleagues and sharing responsibilities within the phone group.
  • Complete additional ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
  • Perform general administrative support tasks, including faxing, copying, archiving, and filing.
 

Who you are:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Team Assistant, supporting a busy team is a MUST. Experience of working in 1:1 or 1:2 roles will not be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Team Assistant within Banking would be highly advantageous in order to allow you to transition into this role with ease and be familiar with the financial terminology
