As our Fleet Mechanic, youll play an important role in keeping our team moving. Youll help ensure our fleet is safe, reliable and ready for work by carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics. In this hands on role, youll be supporting the smooth running of our Workshops and helping our people work safely and effectively every day.
In this role, youll: Help keep the Workshops running smoothly day to day, taking on tasks as needed. Carry out annual services across our fleet. Complete routine inspections and servicing to keep our vehicles in top condition. Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues and repair what you can on the spot or arrange recovery when thats the safest option. Get to the bottom of system faults, identify whats causing them and complete the necessary repairs. Visit sites when required to service or repair vehicles on location. Use repair manuals to identify the right parts and raise orders when replacements are needed. Repair or replace worn or damaged components.
