We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.The below job description will outline this position of: Fleet Marine EngineerTypically, this person will provide technical support across a fleet of vessels, ensuring they are maintained to a high operational standard. The role involves travelling between vessels to carry out maintenance, inspections and repairs, supporting onboard engineers, coordinating contractors and assisting with planned maintenance and dry docking activities.HSB Technicals client is an established and well-regarded business entity.Duties and responsibilities of the Fleet Marine Engineer :Travel across the vessel fleet carrying out maintenance, inspections and repairsProvide technical guidance and support to onboard vessel engineersCoordinate and manage external contractors for inspections, servicing and certificatioAssist with planning and managing vessel dry dockings and maintenance periodsMaintain accurate service records and ensure planned maintenance systems are updatedIdentify required spare parts, obtain quotations and arrange procurementSupport improvement initiatives across the fleet to increase reliability and efficiencyAssist with training and evaluation of onboard engineering personnelEnsure vessels operate safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standardsOccasionally sail as engineer onboard vessels to provide emergency cover if required Qualifications and requirements for the Fleet Marine Engineer:Previous experience in a marine engineering or fleet engineering roleStrong understanding of vessel maintenance, repairs and marine engineering systemsAbility to travel across the UK and Europe as requiredExperience coordinating contractors, maintenance periods or dry dockingsGood understanding of marine safety regulations and engineering standardsStrong organisational and problem-solving skills This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role.JBRP1_UKTJ
