Fitter / Mechanic
Location: Staverton, Devon with on call travel (rota basis, additional rate paid) covering the South West
Contract type: Permanent, Full or Part Time could be considered for the right person
Working hours: Full time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, flexible between 07:00 AM to 16:30 PM.
Salary: up to £36,000 dependant on experience
About the role
Are you experienced in repairing ground maintenance equipment, including ride-on mowers, hedge trimmers, woodchippers, tractors, and winter maintenance gear? Do you have a background in maintaining fleet vehicles (vans, lorries etc.)? Requirements
Previous experience in repairing performing routine maintenance of ground maintenance machinery & vehicles
Strong all-round knowledge of woodchippers, hedge trimmers, mowers, tractors, and winter maintenance equipment
Ability to service, maintain & repair the above. Familiarity with welding, fabrication etc. advantageous
Full Clean UK Driving Licence - ability/ experience of towing desirable
Qualifications in land-based engineering, hydraulic systems, welding, and auto-electrical work are preferred but not essential
