This is a hands-on, site-based role carrying out fire stopping works to help prevent the spread of fire and smoke through buildings.Fire stopping involves sealing gaps and openings around pipes, cables, walls, and floors using specialist fire-rated materials. Experience is useful, but we are also open to people with a construction or maintenance background who are willing to learn.This is a mobile role, working across multiple sites.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out fire stopping works to walls, floors, and service penetrationsInstall fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps, batt, and other fire stopping productsFollow basic drawings, instructions, and manufacturer guidelinesEnsure work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidyGeneral drylining tasks (with fire board)Take photos and record completed works using a tablet or phoneWork safely and follow company health & safety proceduresCommunicate clearly with supervisors and site contactsDesired Skills & ExperienceWe welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds.
