Role Overview

We are looking for site operatives with at least 2 years proven experience infire stopping.

They should have a strong understanding ofPFP(Passive Fire Protection) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fire-stopping installations and remedial works following manufacturer guidelines and FIRAS/IFC certification standards.
• They should have a keen eye foridentifying potential fire hazardsand theattention to detailto ensure complete coverage and effectiveness.
• Ensure building safety by installing and maintaining fire-resistant systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke
• Identifying areas in buildings, such as any penetrations or gaps around pipes, ducts, and cables, that require fire-stopping measures.
• Using fire-resistant materials like sealants, sprays, and boards to seal these gaps.
• Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and building codes.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• DBS checked
• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection OR equivalent
• 2 years experience in Passive Fire Protection
• Operate phone software to log and record works
• SSSTS desirable
• CSCS desirable
