Fire Stopper (Tech 2) – Passive Fire Protection

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to join a growing delivery team, working across fire protection and Social Housing projects for a Tier 1 market leading Specialist Passive Fire Protection contractor. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will play a key part in ensuring buildings meet the highest fire safety and compliance standards.

You will be trusted to work independently on site, delivering high-quality passive fire protection works while maintaining strict adherence to regulations and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

We will rely on you to carry out a full range of passive fire protection works, including fire stopping to walls, floors and service penetrations

Installing fire collars, batt and mastic systems, intumescent products and associated fire-stopping solutions

Working accurately from drawings, specifications and manufacturers’ details

Ensuring all works are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and quality standards

Completing site paperwork, reports and compliance documentation accurately and on time

Maintaining high standards of workmanship in occupied and non-occupied properties

Liaising with site supervisors, managers and other trades as required

Identifying and resolving issues on site to ensure works are delivered right first time
