We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join an established and respected fire protection company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, enjoys working autonomously, and takes pride in delivering precise, compliant, and well-coordinated sprinkler system designs.

As a Sprinkler Design Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the project team, ensure accurate and timely technical submissions, and provide support and mentorship to junior designers. You will play a key part in ensuring all sprinkler system designs meet current industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design a variety of automatic sprinkler systems, including fire pumps, tanks, wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems

Perform hydraulic calculations using Canute and manual methods

*

Coordinate sprinkler layouts with the building structure, MEP services, and project constraints

*

Attend onsite and online client-driven design coordination meetings

*

Conduct site surveys to ensure designs align with actual conditions and existing services

*

Prepare and submit 2D drawings for approval, construction, and as-built phases

Ensure all designs comply with company design standards and BIM requirements
