Protec Fire and Security Group/A Bosch Company have an opportunity for a Fire and Security Area Service Manager in Scotland.\n\nThe Area Service Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day service operations within a defined area. The role ensures that service delivery meets SLAs, customer expectations, and company standards while supporting the Regional Service Manager in operational, financial, and team objectives.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n1. Operational Management\n\nManage and coordinate service operations across the assigned area to ensure SLA compliance.\n\nAllocate and schedule engineers effectively to meet service demand.\n\nMonitor service performance, including first-time fix rates, response times, and efficiency.\n\nImplement local process improvements to optimize operations.\n\n2.

Team Leadership\n\nSupervise engineers and service staff in the area, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.\n\nSupport training and development initiatives to ensure staff competence.\n\nPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.\n\n3. Customer & Account Management\n\nMaintain close contact with clients within the area to ensure satisfaction and address issues promptly.\n\nHandle day-to-day escalations and resolve operational problems efficiently.\n\nSupport service renewals by ensuring high-quality service and client engagement.\n\n4. Financial & Compliance Responsibilities\n\nMonitor area-specific budgets and control operational costs.\n\nSupport the Regional Service Manager in achieving area Gross Margin (%) and EBIT targets.\n\nEnsure adherence to regulatory, safety, and technical standards\n\n5.

Onboarding & Service Contracts\n\nSupport onboarding of new clients in the area, ensuring smooth transition and initial service delivery.\n\nAssist in contract renewals, providing operational insight and supporting customer engagement.\n\n6. KPIs & Reporting\n\nTrack and report on area operational KPIs, including SLA compliance, engineer productivity, and customer satisfaction.\n\nProvide regular updates and insights to the Regional Service Manager.\n\n7. Engineers Overtime & Resource Management\n\nApprove local engineer overtime in line with operational needs and budget.\n\nAdjust staffing and resources dynamically to maintain operational continuity.\n\nKey Skills & Competencies\n\n * Strong operational and team management skills.\n\n * Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.\n\n * Knowledge of fire and security service operations and compliance standards.\n\n * Ability to make quick operational decisions and manage multiple priorities.\n\n * Effective communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\n * Relevant technical or engineering qualification in fire, security, or related field.\n\n * Experience managing field service teams or multi-site operations.\n\n * Familiarity with service contracts, renewals, and client relationship management.\n\nKPIs / Performance Metrics\n\n * SLA compliance and response times\n\n * First-time fix rates\n\n * Engineer productivity and efficiency\n\n * Customer satisfaction within the area\n\n * Budget adherence and contribution to GM (%) & EBIT
