Job Description

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer, they are seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor (Mechanical / Civil Contractor) to provide specialist support for Fire Risk Assessment activities at their site near Wakefield.\nThis is a fixed-term contract for 6 to 8 weeks with an immediate start.\nSalary: £30.00 - £35.00 per hour, depending on experience.\nPLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:\nEssential Requirements:\n * You can start ASAP.\n * Proven experience in mechanical / civil contracting.\n * Knowledge of fire risk assessment processes.\n * Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations.\n * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.\n * Excellent communication and reporting skills.\nDesirable Skills:\n * Experience in food manufacturing environments.\n * Familiarity with health and safety audits.\nResponsibilities:\n * Assist with fire risk assessments across mechanical and civil installations.\n * Provide technical input on compliance with UK fire safety legislation.\n * Support documentation and reporting requirements.\n * Collaborate with site teams to ensure safety standards are met.\nThis role would suit someone with previous experience in carrying out fire risk assessments in an engineering or manufacturing environment, job tiles could include; Fire Risk Consultant / Fire Assessor / Fire Risk Assessor / Risk Assessment Contractor / Mechanical Risk Assessor / Civil Contractor / Fire Safety Assessor / Fire Safety Consultant / Fire Assessment Officer / Health & Safety Advisor / Health and Safety Consultant / HSE Advisor / Health Safety & Environmental Officer / similar
