Fire Risk, Health and Safety Consultant (Mid to Senior Level)Our client is a well-established environmental, health & safety and compliance consultancy operating across the UK and internationally. They support a diverse portfolio including commercial offices, retail estates, industrial facilities, media organisations, and mixed-use developments.Due to continued growth and increasing demand for higher-level technical support, they are seeking a Fire Risk, Health and Safety Consultant (Mid to Senior Level) to join their team.The role is predominantly Fire Risk Assessor focused. The RoleThis is a senior position requiring a high level of technical competence, professional judgement, and client-facing capability.You will be responsible for delivering complex fire risk assessments and providing clear, practical advice to ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislation. You will also contribute to more advanced technical work, particularly in relation to existing and non-compliant buildings.Key responsibilities include:Delivering PAS 79-compliant fire risk assessments across a range of complex property typesProviding expert advice in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act, and associated regulationsInvolvement in the development of retrospective fire strategies, with structured training and support provided to further develop capability in this areaHealth & Safety assessmentsProducing high-quality, client-ready reports with clear and proportionate recommendationsActing as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting informed decision-makingReviewing and quality assuring fire risk assessments (Principal level)Supporting and mentoring junior team membersContributing to service development and technical standardsCandidate RequirementsExtensive experience in undertaking fire risk assessments within commercial or complex multi-site environmentsStrong working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidanceExperience dealing with complex or higher-risk buildings, including legacy compliance issuesAbility to produce clear, well-structured technical reportsConfident communicator with experience managing client relationshipsRelevant qualifications (e.g. IFE, IFSM, NEBOSH Fire) or equivalent professional developmentMembership of a professional body (desirable)PackageSalary up to £60,000 depending on experienceOngoing professional development and support with further qualificationsClear progression to technical leadership or associate-level rolesOpportunity to work across a varied and technically challenging project portfolioIf you're an experienced Fire Risk Assessor with Health and Safety experience and looking to broaden your exposure across diverse, high-impact projects within a respected consultancy, please send over your CV.JBRP1_UKTJ
