The Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Fire Inspection Services Surveyor to join our growing team. This field-based role involves carrying out fire door and fire compartmentation surveys, identifying compliance issues, and producing clear, accurate reports for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fire door inspections and compartmentation surveys in line with current regulations
• Assess buildings for fire safety compliance and identify risks or defects
• Produce detailed reports, including photographic evidence and recommendations
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Ensure all work is completed to high professional and safety standards
• Keep up to date with industry legislation and best practices

Requirements

• Experience in fire door inspections and/or passive fire protection surveys
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. FDIS, FIRAS, or equivalent) preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Experience using digital reporting tools
• Knowledge of compartmentation systems and remedial actions
