Salary: £14- £15/h
Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm 8h paid break unpaid
Type: Full-time term to perm
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Fire Door Installer / Passive Fire Protection Operative to join our growing team in the Hampshire area. The successful candidate will have proven experience in fire door installation, remedial works, and fire stopping, with a strong understanding of compliance and safety standards.
This role requires a reliable, skilled professional who can work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship across various projects.
Key Responsibilities Installation of fire doors in line with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines
Carrying out fire door remedial works and upgrades
Installing door closers and associated ironmongery
Completing fire stopping works as required
Accurately completing job sheets and documentation
Working safely and professionally on-site
Essential Requirements Proven experience in fire door installation and remedial works
Experience with fire stopping works
Knowledge of door closers and fire-rated ironmongery
Valid CSCS card
Must have own van and tools
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Desirable Experience Experience working under BM TRADA standards
Experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
Experience working across multiple sites
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and take pride in delivering high-quality work. Strong references and a proven track record within passive fire protection are essential.
